Hawkeyes, What a great game this past Saturday. It was a tough battle against the Gophers. They had one of the best defenses we faced all year. I was very proud of our defense and the way we grabbed flags this week. Robbie had a great game with 8 flags. Nick showed great effort running down the Gophers quarterback when he was going for a long run. I was very proud of our team and look forward to our last game on Wednesday night. Keep up the great effort and have a great week.

Hawkeyes, After a slow start and giving up a touchdown on the opening drive, you pulled it together, woke up and played another great game. The flag grabbing on defense was really spread out with many players getting in the action. Tyler K had a great defensive game with 5 flags. It was nice to see Josh and Jacob in on the defensive action with each one getting a flag that I saw. On the offensive side, Robbie, Drew, Casey, David, Tyler J, Mark G and Tony did a nice job protecting the middle, giving Tyler K. time to pass and hand the ball off. Nick, Joey and Mark L did a nice job running the ball. Touchdowns were scored by Tyler K and Nick, with an extra point made by Joey. All and all it was a great effort on all the players. I saw nice hustle by Danny L. and Nathan at the defensive back position. I hope everyone has a great week in school and look forward to practice on Thursday.

Hawkeyes, Great game on Saturday. The Wildcats were good competition, but you really out played them. You all played real hard and listened well. On defense, Nick, Joey, Tyler, Robbie did a great job grabbing flags. On offense, the line of Tyler J., Casey, Tony, Drew, Robbie, David, and Mark L. did a super job blocking for our runners. Tyler K. had a great touchdown pass to Mark G. and Nick did a nice job on his touchdown run. We got our first two point conversion on a super sweep by Joey. I am very pleased with everyone's effort and it is a pleasure coaching you guys. I am sure the other coaches feel the same. Have a great week and we will see you at practice on Thursday.

Congratulations Hawkeyes! I was proud of the way you played on Saturday. Everyone hustled and listened well. It is a pleasure coaching this team.
