Wolverines, Another great game! You guys sure have come along way. You guys are really showing good teamwork and sportsmanship.  Our defense was tough against a good Buckeye running game. Lots of flags were grabbed by Mitchell, Kyle K, Kyle S, Ryan, Austin, Patrick, Jackson, and Colin. Cameron, Joseph, Ross, Matthew, and Matt did a great job of plugging the middle. We scored 2 touchdowns today. One by Austin and one by Mitchell. There were some fantastic blocks made on both of these plays by everyone!! We even made a extra point this week by Kyle S. We play Wednesday night against a good Hawkeyes team. See you soon!

Hey Wolverines, What a great game you guys played on Saturday. All of you were focused and remembered what we had practiced. The Coaches and Parents thought this was one of our best games so far. All of you did an awesome job on Defense stopping the Gophers many times for losses or no gain. What some great flag pulling! I think everyone got at least one, and multiple flags were grabbed by Kyle K., Kyle S., Jackson, Mitchell, Patrick, Austin And Colin.  Cameron and Matt had some key grabs as well.  On offense we only scored one touchdown by Austin, but we had many times we were close to scoring. We also had a completed pass. The guys up on the line deserve the credit for this game. Fantastic blocking by Mitchell, Cameron, Colin, Jackson, Joseph, Matthew and Justin.  Our team has come along way since the first practice. We are all very proud of you! You guys are so fun to Coach and watch. Keep up the good work. See you Wednesday for our Scrimmage game.

Wolverines, you guys played really hard against a good Spartan football team. I know it was tough out there in the cold and wind, grabbing flags. We stopped the Spartans a few times for losses with some good flag pulling from Mitchell, Kyle S, Patrick, and Kyle K. We only scored one touchdown today but, it was certainly one of the most exciting plays of the year and one for the highlight films. Mitchell read a pass play by the Spartans and Intercepted the pass and ran 40 yards for the touchdown. Great job Mitchell!! 110%. Next week we play the Gophers. Please dress warm. We will see you guys Thursday.  Have a good week!

Another great game Wolverines!! You guys sure are exciting to watch. You put on a great show Saturday taking it right down to the last seconds of the game and scoring. Wow, I hope you guys are having as much fun as your coaches are! All of you have improved so much and are listening and learning great. You are really getting to know each other and playing like a team. Touchdowns were scored this week by Austin and Mitchell. We had some booming kickoffs by Cameron, Justin, Joseph and Ryan which put the Badgers in poor field position, to allow our defense to take over.  All of you did great grabbing flags and rushing the Quarterback.  I saw some great sportsmanship from Mitchell and Kyle S., telling teammates they made good plays.  Keep up the good work Wolverines. We have a big game Saturday against the Spartans.

Game 2 against the Wildcats proved to be a defensive battle with each team scoring only one Touchdown.  The Wolverines really showed what they were made of, not giving in to the Wildcats powerful defensive rush. You guys held together. Mitchell, Cameron, Colin, Matthew, Matt, Joeseph, And Ross. Way To block as a team guys!!! Remember, blocking is everyone's job! and we saw how important it is.  Lets keep it up.  The Wolverines defense was equally strong.  We sacked the Wildcats many times for losses as well.  I could mention every player on the team for their efforts on Defense. Great Job Guys!!!

As the first game was about to start, the Wolverines were so excited and yet nervous. For many, this was their first real game of flag football. What to expect?, Will I get a flag?, Will I score?, Will I block good?. All of the above happened, with scores coming from Patrick, Austin, and Mitchell. Extra points were also made by Austin And Kyle S. Of course, none of these scores would have been possible without the key blocks by Cameron, Kyle K, Jackson, Colin, Matthew, Matt, Ross and Kyle S. You guys did pretty good in your 3 point stance as well. The Defense put up quite a fight stopping the Hoosiers many times in the backfield for losses. The Defense was led by Ryan, Joseph, Zachary, Kyle K., Austin, Mitchell, Kyle S., Patrick and Justin all coming up with big plays and grabbing some Hoosier flags. Your Coaches are real proud of you guys and we can't wait to have more fun next week as we tame the Wildcats. Thanks again to all the parents that help out as well. This is what its all about!!! God Bless and we will see you on Thursday for practice.
