The Steelers are crowned "SUPERBOWL
CHAMPIONS" as they defeat an awesome Packer
team 26 to 6. They played on the Hamilton High School football field,
Saturday morning. Kameron Cerroni put the Steelers in excellent field position
for their first series, by returning the kick off to the 22yard line. The
Packers made 4 huge defensive plays to stop the Steelers, and to take over on
downs. It was the Steelers' turn to make some big plays on defense and stop the
Packers. That is exactly what they did.- Bobby "The Burner" Wiedenfeld,
and Erik "The Stopper" Barbar, both made huge plays to stop the Packer
runners for losses. The next big play was made by Michael "The Road
Runner" Ruminski, who was not fooled by a misdirection pass play, and
deflected the pass. The Steeler curtain forced a punt, and the Steelers' offense
took the field. This time, the offense would not come up empty. With great
blocking by a very solid front line, consisting of: Tanner "Bad Boy"
Brown, Adam "The Crusher" Coston, Joe "The Blocking Machine"
Dummar, AJ "The Toe" Fotsch, and Max "The Ax" Anschutz, the
Steelers were able to move the football. Johnny "The Jet" Cording was
able to put the finishing touches on the drive, with a 37 yard touchdown
scamper. The Steelers were able to convert the 2point conversion, when Kameron
Cerroni found Sam "I Am" Verhulst, all alone in the middle of the end
zone. After an excellent kick off by "The Toe," the STEEL curtain went
to work. After 2 great plays, by Nick "The Hammer" Klein, and Steve
"The Steadyman" Radcliffe, the play of the game happened. Zach
"Attack" Herriges was able to intercept a pass, and race for a 57 yard
touchdown, to give the Steelers a 14-0 lead. The Packers would not go away empty
handed. They answered that score with a 35yard touchdown drive of their own, and
were able to cut the Steeler lead down to 14-6. The Steelers answered right back
on the next drive as Brian "Crazy Legs" Gryszkiewicz, raced 38 yards
on an inside reverse to close out the scoring in the 1st half. The Steelers were
able to score one more time in the 2nd half, when "The Jet" found the
corner and raced 41yards for the final score of the game. The Steeler coaches,
players, and parents would like to congratulate the Packers on a great season. WHAT
A GREAT SUPERBOWL GAME! Every player played thier
heart out, and they need to be congratulated. For

THE STEELERS ARE SUPER BOWL BOUND!!!! After
battling for 40 minutes against a tough and talented Colts team the Steelers
found themselves on the positive side of an 18 to 6 score. The game started with
a huge kick return by the Colts to the 19 yard line giving them a first and goal
on their first possession. The Steelers front line consisting of Max "The
Ax" Anschutz, Nick "The Hammer" Klein, Bobby "The
Burner" Wiedenfeld and "Bad, Bad Tanner Brown" truly lived up to
their nick name "The Steel Curtain" by shutting down the Colts. They
were able to penetrate and disrupt the Colts' offense while Zach
"Attach" Herrige and Sam "I Am" Verhulst played great
contain defense and did not allow the Colts' runners to get outside. After 4
plays the Steelers Offense took the field and marched right down the field into
the end zone. Johnny "The Jet" Cording started the march off with a 15
yard gain, followed by Kameron Cerroni's 15 yard run. Brian
"Crazy-Legs" Gryszkiewicz busted loose for a huge gain and the
Steelers found themselves with a first and goal from the one yard line. The
"Jet" finished the drive off with a one yard plunge. The offensive
line was outstanding as they handled the Colts' defensive line that was much
bigger. AJ "The Toe" Fotsch, Max "The Ax," Adam "The
Crusher" Coston, Tanner "Bad Boy" Brown, and Joe "The
Blocking Machine" Dumman continue to improve game after game and they
really stepped up tonight. The defense again handled the Colts' offense, forcing
a punt after 3 downs. The Steeler offense went to work, putting together another
scoring drive that ended with a 35 yard TD pass from Kam to Sam "I Am"
WHAT A GREAT CATCH! The Steelers struck again in the second half on a 41 yard
run by "The Jet" which would not have happened without a huge
downfield block, by Steve "The Steadyman" Radcliffe. Steve continues
to do his job, and do it well, game in and game out. The second half highlights
included a huge INT by Michael "The Roadrunner" Ruminiski. The Colts
did come up with a huge punt return for a TD on the last play of the game. The
Steelers are headed to the Super Bowl which will be played at Hamilton High
School, Saturday, October 27, at 9:00am. They will face an awesome Packer team
that has great athletes, and a great coaching staff. It will be a great
match-up. Congratulations to the Steelers players, for
their AFC Championship, their 6-0 record, and a their birth in the Super Bowl. The
work ethic and great attitudes displayed by the Steeler team has been the key to
their success so far. The Steelers need to prepare mentally and
physically for this talented Packer opponent. The coaches, parents, and fans
believe in the Steelers, and are truly proud of each and every one of them. See
you all October 27! A special thanks to our loyal
fans-Mom's, Dad's, Grandpa's, Grandma's, Aunt's, Uncle's, Brother's, Sister's,
and Friends. Your support is appreciated. Eric "The Stopper"

The weather was beautiful and the match up was awesome - The Cowboys 3 and 1.
The Steelers 4 and 0. A game that was touted as a key match up disappointed no
one as two very strong teams battled on Thursday night. When the dust finally
settled the Steelers found themselves on the winning end of an 18 to 0 score.
The game started as the Cowboys kicked off to the Steelers and it was a strong
Cowboy defense that forced the Steelers to punt. After exchanging punts on the
first two possessions of the game Kameron Cerroni was able to return a Cowboy
punt 45 yards to the 15 yard line. He was sprung by key blocks from Nick
"The Hammer" Klein, Eric "The Stopper" Barbar, and Mike
"The Roadrunner" Ruminski. The Steelers were able to find the endzone
two plays later when Sam "I Am" Verhulst caught a 10 yard TD pass from
Kam. The offense was outstanding on that series stopping the Cowboys from
putting pressure on the QB. The line was once again led by Tanner "Bad
Boy" Brown, AJ "The Toe" Fotsch, Max Anschutz, Adam "The
Crusher" Coston, and Joe "The Blocking Machine" Dumman. The
Steelers were unable to convert on the extra point. After the kick off the
Steelers held on 4 plays to end the half. There were many defensive standouts in
the first half including Brian "Crazy Legs" Gryszkiewcz who had 2 huge
3rd down sacks. Bobby "The Burner" Wiedenfeld and Zach
"Attack" Herriges who controlled the line of scrimmage and made a
number of great plays. In the second half the Steelers were able to hold the
Cowboys on the first series and after forcing a punt the offense went to work.
Johnny "The Jet" Cording was able to gain positive yardage on numerous
plays with the biggest play coming on a 55 yard touchdown run. Again the
offensive line was outstanding. "The Jet" was able to find the end
zone one more time in the second half on a 48 yard TD run. The "D" was
also solid in the second half. Steve "The Saftey" Radcliffe was
outstanding at his defensive back position. He played his position perfectly and
was able to break up numerous passes down field. The
Steelers need to be congratulated on a very fine performace against a solid
Cowboy team. The Steelers' concentrated on both sides of the football
extremely well and everyone did their job. The table is
set for a show down with the Colts on Tuesday night. The winner will be crowned
the AFC Champion and earn a berth in the SUPERBOWL on Saturday, October 27!!!!!
It does not get any better than this!!!! The Steelers will have to
prepare very hard and be mentally and physically ready for an extremely talented
and well coached Colts team. The coaches and parents know
the Steeler players will be ready for this challenge!!! Don't
Miss It!!! Go STEELERS!!!!!

The Steelers Football team continued on its roll as they again stopped a very
strong opponent in the Bills on Thursday night 24 to 6. The Steelers struck on
their very first possession of the game. After 2 long gains by Johnny "The
Jet" Cording, Kameron Cerroni scrambled into the endzone from 18 yards out.
The defense took the field and on the very first play from scrimmage got the
ball back for the Steelers offense. Under heavy pressure from Nick "The
Hammer" Klein, Zach "Attack" Herriges, and Eric "The
Stopper" Barbar the Bills QB rushed a pass that was picked off by Kam
Cerroni. The Steeler offense would strike 2 more times before halftime as Sam
"I Am" Verhulst caught a 25 yard touchdown pass and "The
Jet" score on a long run. The offensive line really stepped up against a
very tough and aggressive Bills defensive front line. Again, Tanner "Bad
Boy" Brown was outstanding along with AJ Fotsch, Max Anschutz, Adam
"The Crusher" Coston, and Joe "The Blocking Machine" Dumman.
The Steelers line has continued to improve and was extremely solid against the
Bills. The second half was a defensive battle. The Steelers really dug in and
did not allow a Bills first down. The defense had 4 interception for the game -
2 by Kam Cerroni, 1 by Brian "Crazy Legs" Gryszkiewcz, and 1 by the
"The Jet". Mike "The Road Runner" Ruminski had many great
plays from his defensive back position including a knocked down pass that would
of gone for a touchdown. The 2nd half offensive highlights included a 20 yard
touchdown pass to Sam "I Am" from Kam. Also, Steve Radcliffe had a
opportunity to carry the ball several times for some nice runs and great
yardage. Finally, Bobby "The Burner" Wiedenfeld had 2 huge runs, with
one almost resulting in a touchdown - but a great play by a Bills DB stopped
him. It was a GREAT night for the Steelers team. The focus and concentration has
continued to improve throughout the season. Their parents
and coaches are extremely proud of them - and they should be proud of
themselves. They are are a true TEAM. The
Steelers stand at 4 and 0. They return to the turf on Thursday, October 11th
against an awesome Cowboy team which is very well coached and very disciplined
on both sides of the ball. The Steelers will prepare very hard, and hope to be
ready for this HUGE challenge. GO STEELERS!!!!

The Steelers improved their conference record to 3 and 0 with a 34 to 19
victory over a solid Jets team on Tuesday night. The Steelers really had to
strap it on to hold a very powerful Jets offensive out of the end zone on their
first offensive possession. After the Steelers defense held on a 4th and short
situation the offensive took the field. On the very first play from scrimmage
Johnny "The Jet" Cording raced for a 57 yard touchdown run behind the
great blocking of Adam Coston, Joe "The Blocking Machine" Coston, AJ
Fotsch, and Max Anschutz. The Steelers again held a potent Jets offense and
forced them to punt. The Steelers where able to capitalize on good field
position as Brian Gryszkiewicz scored one of his 2 touchdowns on a 32 yard run
which was made possible by Steve Radcliffe's key block. The first half was
highlighted by a great defensive stand. The Steelers stopped the Jets on the 2
yard line as time expired in the 1st half. Great plays were turned in by Michael
Ruminski, Bobby Wiedenfeld, Erik Barber, and Zach Herriges. The Steelers offense
struck 3 more times in the second half as Johnny "The Jet" Cording,
Brian Gryszkiewicz, and Kameron Cerroni each scored a touchdown. Sam "I
Am" Verhulst is also credited with 2 extra points. Special mention needs to
go to Tanner Brown for his solid performance at the center position this whole
season. The Steeler offense goes through Tanner. The
Steelers showed tremendous team work and really stuck together in the game
against the Jets. They need to continue to work hard, concentrate, and
execute on both sides of the ball. Every parent should be
proud of their sons effort and sportsmanship so far this season. The
Steelers will have 1 week to prepare for a very good Bills team. GAME TIME

Kameron Cerroni scored on 2 touchdown runs behind great blocking of an AWESOME
line who are: Adam Coston, Max Anschutz, Tanner Brown, Joe "The Blocking

credited with a fine 1st half offensive performance. The defense also turned in
a stellar performance holding a very good offensive at bay throughout the game.
Brian Gryszkiewicz and Sam "I am" did an outstanding job of not
allowing anyone to get outside. The front line, consisting of Nick Klien, Bobby

scrimmage and put continued pressure on the quarterback in passing situations.
The defensive backs were led by Johnny Cording who had 1 interception. Michael
Ruminski, Kameron Cerroni, and Steve Radcliffe also turned in great performances
