Sussex Lions Piston and Rod Show

This event now coming into its third year had been stated as “this show is a must attend” for car shows in SE Wisconsin. The show held during mid August is open to all forms of cars, trucks, semis, and bikes with judging classes for all vehicles entered. This event drew approximately 300 cars / trucks, motorcycles and semis and 1000+ spectators in 2009. The show also features displays of local show related businesses from the world’s largest concrete pumping truck, a live demo of a race engine dynamometer, and an R/C car racetrack for added excitement.

Piston and Rod Show Sponsorship Levels

Raffle Sponsor = The name of the company will be announced as the sponsor of that raffle item when it is raffled off.

Bronze Sponsor ($100) = The name of the company will be listed on the website prior to the show and placed on the banners at the show.  We will insert coupons from the business into the grab bags given at registration.  You will receive one free vehicle registration.

Silver Sponsor ($250) = You will receive everything that the Bronze Sponsors receive, plus the following:  The DJ will name your company throughout the show, we will put up two of your business’ own banners, and you will receive two free vehicle registrations.

Gold Sponsor ($500) = You will receive everything that the Silver Sponsors receive, plus the following:  The company’s name will be placed on the Piston & Rod Show Posters and the T-Shirts.  You will receive one free 10’ x 20’ vendor area and four free vehicle registrations.

Sussex Lions Annual Golf Outing

The Lions golf outing has been a growing attraction and a fun filled event in September with raffle prizes, hole prizes and door prizes donated from local businesses throughout the entire event. The 2009 outing was a four person scramble held at Ironwood Golf Course with the teams playing a 9:00 shotgun start for 18 holes.

ALL Sponsors will be included in a brochure handed out at lunch and during the awards ceremony.

Par: ( $250) includes golf for one player, hole sign, and recognition at awards ceremony.

Birdie: ( $550) = golf for four players, hole sign, and recognition at awards ceremony.

Eagle: ( $1000) = golf for four players, hole sign,  your name on all correspondence, lunch sign, putting contest sign, recognition at awards ceremony, and an invitation to a lions club dinner meeting.

Lunch Sponsorship: ( $550) = golf for four players, signage at lunch and recognition at awards ceremony.

Putting Contest:  ( $550) = golf for four players, signage at putting green and recognition at awards ceremony.

Lions Flag Football

The Lions Flag Football program has been a local youth tradition for over 37 years providing training and mentoring to youth grades 1^st thru 6^th in teamwork and sportsmanship in organized sports. It is estimated that 20,000 children have participated in the Lions program since the 1960’s.  

Flag Football Team Sponsor:  $150 – Your company name will be printed on each player’s jersey for your team, and your company will receive a plaque to hang in your business, listing you as a Flag Football Sponsor. 

Sussex Lions Daze and Parade

This event has been billed as the annual homecoming for the Sussex / Lisbon communities. Held consecutively for more than 40 years this event draws thousands to Sussex Village Park in mid July for an array of activities such as food, music, tractor pulls, fireworks, softball tournaments, and carnival rides. In the midst of this is the Lions Daze parade, a large gathering of floats, bands, clowns, clubs, and the display of local military and fire equipment parading down Main Street Sussex for all to see.

Lions Daze Sponsorship Levels

Bronze Sponsor ($100) = Your company name will be on banners with other sponsors, that will be displayed at the particular event.  Your name will be listed with other sponsors in an ad in the Sussex Sun thanking our sponsors

Silver Sponsor ($250) = Everything that the Bronze Sponsors receive, plus the following:  We will put up one of your companies own banners at the particular event.  (Business must supply banner)  We will provide you with a plaque to hang in your business, listing you as a Lions Daze Sponsor.

Gold Sponsor ($500) = Everything that the Silver Sponsors receive, plus the following:  Your company name will appear on all posters and other printed advertising for the specific event as an Event Sponsor.  Your company name will also appear on banners throughout the park during Lions Daze, listing your company as a Major Sponsor of Lions Daze.  The plaque you receive will list you as a Major Sponsor of Lions Daze.

Platinum Sponsor ($1,000 and Up) = Everything that the Gold Sponsors receive, plus the following:  Your company will receive one 10’ X 20’ booth to advertise your company.  Only passive selling will be allowed. 

For companies that sponsor more than one event, we will include all events you sponsor to reach the sponsorship levels above.  (example – if you sponsor two events at the Silver Level you will receive everything that the Gold Sponsor receives)
