Becoming a member of the Sussex Lions Club
We are always looking for people who want to become involved in their communities by volunteering. As a Lion, you’ll perform local volunteer work to improve your community – and communities around the world. Lions Club is about bringing people together to serve our community. If you’re interested in volunteering, leading projects, networking and having fun – you can do all of this and more as a
Lions Club member.

Why should I become a Lion?
As a Lions Club member, you can make a difference every day in your community. Whether it is providing support locally or reaching out internationally, you will have an opportunity to serve and grow. You can become a part of a worldwide organization carrying out community and humanitarian projects.
Participating in our programs and community service projects will give you the opportunity to gain an understanding and have an impact on local and international humanitarian issues, develop relationships with both local and international community and business leaders, and access membership discounts and services.
There are many reasons to become a member. As a Lion, you will:
Help your community and gain valuable skills
Make an impact on people’s lives – locally and internationally
Learn to be a leader – and lead a respected organization
Network with business people in your community and around the world
Energize your life and have fun
